Description

The perfect Tee Shirt with a twist!   The striped knit Tee shirt features a zig zag pattern with a slight flare at the bottom, offering comfort, drape and more style than a regular Tee. A cap sleeve offers a dressier look as well as more coverage. All lines of the pattern are written out, making it easy to follow.

Skills Needed  for Knit Tee Shirt

Sizes

X-Small 4-6, Small 6, Medium 8- 10 Large 12  X Large 14- 16 XXLarge 18-20

Gauge 4.75 stitches = 1” or  19 stitches = 4”  in Stockinette stitch

Measurements

Finished bust X-Small 32, Small 34-36”, Medium 38-40”, Large 42”,  X Large 44-46”  XXLarge 48-50”

The above measurements are finished.  So, if you’re a size 30 bust, XS will give you 2” of ease.

Finished length X-Small  20 Small 20”, Medium20”, Large 22”,  X Large 23”  XXLarge 24”

Yarn

2/2/3/3/4/4  of Katia’s Lino 100% cellulose linen/flax in main color (Gray)and 2/2/2/3/3/4 skeins of contrast color 03 (Off White).

Materials

Size #6 needle You may find it more comfortable to use a circular needle instead of a straight needle to accommodate the large number of the stitches at the cast on. You can switch to a straight needle as you decrease and have fewer stitches.  You do not need a circular needle for the neck or armhole.  Please remember that your needle size may vary after knitting your gauge.

Stitch holdersOnly needed if you will be seaming the shoulders with the 3 needle bind off method.

Stitch Markers/Safety pins- you will only need 5 or so of each.
